The rumors that one of the partners of the company Canonical is working on the first consumer tablet-based operating system Ubuntu, appeared on the network for a long time. A little more than two weeks, the manufacturer is ready to show the tablet users. Today BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition was officially unveiled at MWC 2016.
BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition is based on MediaTek MT8163 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and features a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, 2 GB of RAM, built-in storage of 16 GB and a slot for memory cards. For the autonomy of the gadget responds battery with 7280 mAh.
According to the manufacturer, a key feature of the news is that the tablet can be a substitute for full-fledged PC. To do this, simply connect to the Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition keyboard and mouse and activate the special mode. In it will be available to users of multi-mode and the ability to run desktop applications.
The price of the novelty is not yet announced. According to available data, in the Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition shelves should appear in the second quarter of this year.
